You have seen the look even if you did not know its name. Kim Kardashian made it famous: high-contrast black and white, skin like porcelain, lashes and jawlines that pop, everyone slightly more flawless than real life. That is the glam booth. It is not a filter we slap on afterward. The effect comes from how the booth is lit and how the camera reads that light, then a soft skin-smoothing pass that runs in the moment so the print drops into your guest's hand within seconds, already gorgeous.
We build the glam experience on two of our open-air booths, the Gold Photo Station and the Illumibooth, both of which we have run at events across San Diego, Sacramento, and Temecula since 2006. The Gold Station brings the studio softbox lighting that does most of the heavy lifting. The Illumibooth adds a glow that wraps your guests so there are no harsh shadows under the eyes or chin. Pair either with a sequin backdrop and you have a corner of the room that looks like a red-carpet step-and-repeat, except your aunt is the one posing on it.

A real-time beauty pass softens skin and lifts contrast the instant the shutter fires. Guests get the polished black-and-white look without waiting for an edit later.
Studio softbox lighting
The glam look lives or dies on light. Our softboxes wash faces evenly, kill shadows, and give that magazine-cover glow no phone camera can fake.
Black-and-white drama
High-contrast monochrome flatters everyone and reads as expensive. We can also run color sets if you want both looks in one night.
Sequin and luxe backdrops
Champagne sequins, deep black, blush, or a custom step-and-repeat with your monogram. The backdrop sets the red-carpet tone before anyone strikes a pose.
On-site attendant
A trained Encore attendant runs the booth all night, coaches poses, and keeps the line moving so the glam corner never stalls during dinner.
Instant prints and sharing
Guests walk away with a glossy glam print and can text or AirDrop the digital version to themselves before they sit back down.

How much does a glam booth rental cost?
Packages start at $895 and move up depending on hours, the backdrop you choose, custom print design, and whether you add a guest book or extra prints. Tell us the date, venue, and rough headcount and we will send a flat quote with no surprise fees.
Will the glam look work for a wedding?
It is one of our most requested wedding setups. The black-and-white finish matches almost any color palette, the softbox lighting flatters everyone from the flower girl to the grandparents, and the prints make a keepsake people actually frame. We can match the print template to your invitation suite.
What backdrops can I choose for the glam look?
Champagne and silver sequins are the classics, but we also carry matte black, blush, white, and custom step-and-repeats printed with a monogram, hashtag, or logo. For brand events we print your artwork edge to edge so every photo doubles as marketing.
