Both are great. Here's how to pick.
Because your wedding deserves better than a tablet zip-tied to a tripod.
Not an iPad on a stick. A real camera with real glass, which is why the prints actually look good.
No line backing up during the first dance. Photos are in guests' hands before they've walked back to their tables.
Everyone in the shot gets a print. No rationing. No upcharges. Nobody goes home empty-handed.
A real person runs the booth from the moment guests arrive until we pack up. No self-serve kiosks at your wedding.
We arrive early, set everything up, and disappear quietly at the end. You won't lift a backdrop stand.
Nearly two decades of weddings, corporate events, and everything in between. We've seen it all and we still show up on time.
We know these venues. No surprises on event day.

The questions couples actually ask us.
The best photo booth for a wedding is one that matches the venue aesthetic, produces high-quality prints, and doesn't require your guests to read a four-panel instruction sheet just to take a photo. For elegant or intimate receptions, the Gold Photo Station delivers DSLR-quality images with a classic look and six backdrop options to match any decor. For couples who want a statement piece on the dance floor, the Illumibooth Photo Station's color-shifting LED enclosure creates a glowing focal point guests will actually seek out. Both produce physical prints in six seconds, include unlimited reprints for every guest, and are staffed by a real human the entire night. Skip the self-serve kiosks. Your wedding isn't a tradeshow.
Wedding photo booth rental typically starts around $895 for a three-hour event. That price should include delivery, setup, breakdown, staffing, unlimited prints, and an online gallery. What it should not include is a long list of add-on fees for things that are obviously part of running a photo booth -- like having someone there to run it. At Encore, both the Gold Photo Station and Illumibooth start at $895 for three hours with no hidden fees. Additional hours are available at a flat rate. If you are comparing quotes, pay close attention to what's actually included: staffing, setup time, print paper, and gallery delivery can all be charged separately by some vendors and bundled by others. For a Saturday wedding during peak season -- spring and fall -- booking six to twelve months in advance is not overkill. Photo booth vendors with strong reputations fill up fast, especially for prime weekend dates. If your wedding is on a Friday or Sunday, or during an off-peak month, you may find availability with a few months' notice, but there's no reason to wait. Most couples book their photo booth the same time they book their caterer or DJ: early in the planning process, once the date and venue are locked. We hold dates with a deposit, and our calendar fills faster than you'd expect. If your date is a year out, it's not too early to check availability.
Yes, with a few conditions. The booth itself needs a level, stable surface and access to a standard power outlet within 50 feet -- a generator works if the venue doesn't have outdoor power nearby. Direct sunlight is the main challenge for photo quality: it blows out backgrounds and makes it hard for the camera to expose correctly, so some shade or a tent is helpful during daytime events. For evening outdoor weddings, the lighting is usually straightforward to control and the results are excellent. We have worked at vineyard weddings, beach receptions, garden ceremonies, and open-air ballrooms. Just let us know the setup when you reach out and we will tell you exactly what will work.
Absolutely. Every print that leaves the booth at your wedding can carry your names, your date, a short message, your wedding colors, or a custom logo -- whatever makes it feel like yours rather than a generic event keepsake. Our team works with you on the layout before the event so you're not approving a template at 6pm on a Friday. Strips can be portrait or landscape, two-up or four-up, with or without borders. If you have a specific vision or a designer who has already created something, we can work with that too. The prints guests take home should look like they belong to your wedding -- not like they came from a machine at the mall.
Tell us about your event and we'll get back to you fast.
